COSTCO OPENS AT FRISCO TRAILS

FRISCO—Costco Wholesale, an international chain of membership warehouses that carry quality, brand name merchandise at substantially lower prices than are typically found at conventional wholesale or retail sources, will open a 148,000-square-foot store on Saturday, October 22, at the Cencor-developed Frisco Trails Shopping Center.

Michelle Caplan of Cencor’s sister company, The Weitzman Group, negotiated the lease to Costco for the shopping center.  Costco was represented by Northwest Atlantic and Tony Filley with Princeton Partners.

Frisco Trails Shopping Center is located at the southeast corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Eldorado Parkway and is being developed by Cencor Realty Services under the direction of Cencor Executive Vice President David Palmer. “Frisco Trails marks the fifth shopping center to be developed in Frisco by a Cencor partnership,” Palmer noted.

The center currently features a shadow anchor, Home Depot. The center features space for an additional anchor, as well as six available pad sites for freestanding retail and restaurant uses. Costco will also open a fuel center on a pad site at Frisco Trails.
