WINFREE ACADEMY EXPANDS ITS IRVING OFFICE SPACE IRVING—Winfree Academy Charter Schools, a charter school for high school students throughout the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area, has leased 14,765 square feet of office space in the 6221 Riverside Drive building, for the renewal and expansion of its administrative offices. Jonathan Diamond and Bill Knopick with the Office Services Division of The Weitzman Group handled negotiations for the landlord. In addition to administrative offices, the Irving location will also serve as a training center for educators. Winfree Academy, which was founded in the mid-1990s, provides a unique educational setting for students who are either not succeeding or have not sensed their success in a traditional school environment. Staff members at Winfree have been specifically trained to work with students who are at risk of dropping out of high school. Winfree operates campuses in Denton, Irving, Grapevine, Lewisville, North Richland Hills and Richardson.
