WEITZMAN GROUP NAMED EXCLUSIVE RETAIL LEASING AGENT
FOR AUSTIN'S HILL COUNTRY GALLERIA

AUSTIN--The Weitzman Group has been named the exclusive retail leasing agent for Hill Country Galleria, an 802,559-square-foot mixed-use development located at the junction of Bee Cave Parkway, F.M. 620 and S.H. 71 in Bee Cave, a community in the affluent West Austin market. Hill Country Galleria’s retail space totals 474,585 square feet.

Lance Morris and Adam Zimel with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group will handle leasing at Hill Country Galleria, which is owned by REIT Management & Research.

Hill Country Galleria features a strong regional-draw line-up anchored by Dillard’s department store, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Cinemark multiple-screen cinema and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. The center also features numerous national retailers, including Banana Republic, Chico’s, American Eagle, Jos. A. Bank, Victoria’s Secret, White House I Black Market, Ann Taylor, American Eagle, Lenscrafters, Bath & Body Works, Learning Express and more. Restaurants include Iron Cactus, Mimi’s Café, Panera Bread, Which Wich and Pei Wei.

Hill Country Galleria was designed to create a live/work/play environment, incorporating retail, office, residential and entertainment uses throughout an open-air town center layout. The property incorporates the city of Bee Cave’s City Hall and Public Library into its design, along with natural landscaping, a public amphitheater and hike-and-bike trails.

Hill Country Galleria, along with the adjacent center, the 585,000-square-foot The Shops at the Galleria, creates a strong regional retail destination for the trade area, which features more than 199,000 people within a 10-mile radius.  Within the radius, the average household income is approximately $120,000.

“Weitzman Group’s success leasing The Shops at the Galleria, as well as their extensive retail leasing experience, makes the leasing team the ideal agents for this landmark property,” Adrian Overstreet, asset manager for Hill Country Galleria, said.
