WEITZMAN NAMED RETAIL LEASING AGENT FOR KELLER'S ARTHOUSE

 KELLER—The Weitzman Group has been named the exclusive leasing agent for the retail space at Arthouse, an innovative mixed-use project located at the northwest corner of Town Center Lane and Bear Creek Parkway, just off Keller Parkway (FM 1709), the trade area’s main thoroughfare.

Christopher Walker and Guy Grivas with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group will handle leasing for Arthouse, a project of Southern Land Company.

Arthouse offers a mix of lifestyle retail, residential and commercial space in a building that, while distinctively modern, complements adjacent Keller Town Center, the community’s hub of retail, commercial and municipal activity. Arthouse incorporates 37,000 square feet of street-level retail and “flex” spaces ideal for small businesses, artists and galleries. Arthouse’s  residential component, the Lofts at Arthouse, is comprised of 177 urban-inspired residential units.

Retailers at Arthouse include Sabor Cigar and Wine Lounge, City Hall Restaurant (opening March 2010), Art251, Shoe String Interiors, Monart School of Art, meHD Skincare & Make-up Studio, Le Petit Hameau gifts, Art Party, Girly Girl Salon, Christian Performing Arts Center and several others.

Arthouse’s retail space benefits from its access in the heart of the trade area’s strongest retail district along FM 1709, which is traveled by approximately 47,000 vehicles daily. In addition, the area is popular because of ongoing events like Arthouse’s Gallery Walks and Keller Farmers Market, for which Arthouse serves as a sponsor.

Arthouse also is situated in the heart of a trade area that offers a growing, affluent population. Within a three-mile radius of Arthouse, the population totals 63,585 people with an average household income of approximately $99,500. Between 2009 and 2014, the population within the radius is projected to increase by 22 percent.
