September 15, 2009 MARROCCO PROMOTED TO WEITZMAN VICE PRESIDENT DALLAS--Marc Marrocco has been promoted to vice president with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms based in Teas. Marrocco handles general brokerage, including project representation, tenant representation, pad site representation and development, along with leasing and sales. Prior to joining Weitzman, he was president of Marrocco Enterprises Texas, LP, a pad site developer for car washes, convenience stores and small retail centers. Marrocco also is a captain with the United States Marine Corps (Retired). Marrocco is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. .
