ABEL'S ON THE LAKE TO LOCATE ON LAKE AUSTIN AUSTIN—Abel’s on the Lake, a spin-off of the popular Cain & Abel’s on Rio Grande near the University of Texas, has leased a key waterfront site on Lake Austin. The site features 6,000 square feet of restaurant space and 6,000 square feet of waterfront deck space, as well as co-tenancy with Hula Hut, Mozart’s Coffee and the Lake Austin Marina. Andrew Scroggie and Adam Zimel with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group handled lease negotiations. Abel’s on the Lake will feature a casual, fun and friendly restaurant and full-service bar. The menu will include burgers, sandwiches, salads and pizza. Owners Ellis and Austin Winstanley are working toward a summer opening for Abel’s on the Lake. Abel’s on the Lake, in addition to waterfront access and boat slip parking on Lake Austin, is accessible from key thoroughfare Lake Austin Boulevard. . |
