TRIANGLE TRADITION STARTS WITH TREE LIGHTING, HOLIDAY EVENT

AUSTIN— Hundreds of Austin-area residents attended the first annual Tree Lighting at The Triangle on November 22. The Triangle is Austin's best known mixed-use environment and is located at the juncture of Guadalupe, Lamar and 45th Street.

Other highlights were a visit from Santa, as well as family-friendly activities such as cookie decorating, eco-friendly seed planting, a bounce house and other kid-friendly activities. The highlight of the event was the lighting of The Triangle Tree, a beautiful old live oak at the heart of The Triangle. Strolling carolers entertained, the weather was beautiful, a Triangle tradition was born.
