LAKESHORE LEARNING LOCATES IN AUSTIN AUSTIN—Lakeshore Learning Store, a retailer that specializes in educational products for teachers, parents and kids, has leased 7,500 square feet of retail space in Great Hills Market, a shopping center located at 9828 Great Hills Trail at Research Boulevard in the Arboretum trade area. The location will be the first for Lakeshore in the Austin-area market. Terri Twomey and Andrew Scroggie with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group handled negotiations as exclusive leasing agents for Great Hills Market. Rodger Anderson with United Commercial Realty represented Lakeshore Learning Store. Lakeshore Learning Store, founded in 1954, now operates in 20 states. The Great Hills Market store is set to open in June. Great Hills Market features a strong line-up including Petco, T.J.Maxx, Pier 1 Imports, La Madeleine, Macaroni Grill, Regal Cinemas and others. The Lakeshore Learning lease is one of several that the Weitzman leasing team has recently completed in the Arboretum area. These new leases include Shoe Pavilion, which opened this past fall in Great Hills Station, located adjacent to Great Hills Market. The two centers also will benefit when Target opens adjacent to Great Hills Station in October. . |
