SIMONS PROMOTED TO CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER DALLAS—Weldon Simons has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer for Cencor Realty Services and The Weitzman Group, a corporate alliance that forms one of the largest regional commercial real estate services firms in the United States. Simons is responsible for directing the companies' financing and acquisition strategies. He previously was Senior Vice President - Finance for Cencor/Weitzman. Prior to joining Cencor/Weitzman, Simons was chief financial officer/chief operating officer for Intervest Companies, a Dallas-based real estate acquisition and management company. He had management responsibility for daily business operations, financial, accounting, banking and investor relations. Simons received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington .
