March 20, 2007 TWOMEY PROMOTED TO WEITZMAN VICE PRESIDENT AUSTIN—Terry Twomey  has been promoted to vice president with the Austin Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group. Twomey specializes in retail tenant representation, site selection, leasing and sales and the representation of retail projects for lease or sale. Prior to joining The Weitzman Group in 2001, Twomey was a senior property manager and leasing agent for Houston-based PM Realty Group. She also has experience working as a commercial real estate professional with companies including Lincoln Property Company.  Twomey is active in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Austin Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, of which she is a past president. Twomey has earned the prestigious Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation, awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management. She is a winner of two Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Austin Building of the Year Awards. Twomey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the  University of Texas at Austin. .
