JEANES  PROMOTED TO WEITZMAN ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT

AUSTIN—Ryder Jeanes  has been promoted to assistant  vice president with the Austin Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group.

JeanesHe handles general brokerage, specializing in retail project representation and retail tenant representation. Projects in the Austin area that he handles leasing on include The Triangle, a 125,000-square-foot mixed-use retail and residential project in Central Austin..

Jeanes was named statewide Rookie of the Year for Weitzman in 2005. In addition, Jeanes was inducted into The Weitzman Group's Club 52 in 2005, a company recognition of the brokers who closed at least one deal per week in a year. In 2006, Jeanes was recognized by the Austin Business Journal as one of the Top 10 retail brokers in Austin in its "Heavy Hitters" ranking.

Jeanes is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Council of Austin, and the Hill Country Conservancy. He attended the University of Texas at Austin.
