WEITZMAN NAMED LEASING AGENT FOR CASA LINDA PLAZA
DALLAS--The Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group has been named exclusive leasing agent for Casa Linda Shopping Center, one of Dallas’ best-known and most historic retail centers. Casa Linda, with a retailer and restaurant line-up that includes Albertsons, Petco, Starbucks, Franki’s Little Europe, Blockbuster, ,Bonnie Ruth’s Bistro, The Maddox Shop, El Fenix and 24 Hour Fitness, incorporates a total of 324,600 square feet. Earl Harris and Bryan Grossman with The Weitzman Group are responsible for leasing. Casa Linda recently was purchased byTexas-based AmREIT, which plans a significant restoration and upgrade of the center. The center, which is approximately 60 years old, is famed for its pink Spanish-Revival architecture. In conjunction with the renovation of the 50-year-old center, The Weitzman Group will update and enhance the tenant mix with an influx of new retail and restaurant concepts, while maintaining the local flair of many of the center’s existing retailers and restaurants . |
