CENCOR UNDER WAY WITH RENOVATION OF LOCKHILL VILLAGE
SAN ANTONIO—The
San Antonio office of Cencor Realty Services has completed the first phase of
the renovation of Lockhill Village, a community center anchored by H-E-B at the
intersection of NW Military and Lockhill Selma.
Michael Schoenbrun, San Antonio city partner for Cencor, directed the renovation
of the center.
Lockhill Village, which incorporates a total of 69,445 square feet of retail
space, is anchored by H-E-B, San Antonio’s leading grocery store. Other
retailers in the center include AutoZone, Hallmark, Papa John’s Pizza, The UPS
Store and other retailers and restaurants.
The renovation provided Lockhill Village with a contemporary appearance through a
new paint scheme and the addition of a new fascia that emphasizes new tenant
visibility elements and all new tenant signage. In addition, the
center received upgrades to its parking lot and lighting and received new pylon
signs.
Lockhill Village benefits from its location in a trade area that features
density and good household incomes.
Within a three-mile radius of the center, there are 117,283 people with an
average household income of $63,856. Within a five-mile radius, there are
287,264 people with an average household income of $64,449.
John Roy, Cencor’s vice president of construction for Central Texas, was
responsible for overseeing the construction.
Cencor manages Lockhill Village under the direction of Karen Waring, Cencor’s
regional asset manager and director of property management in San Antonio. The
center is leased by Cencor’s sister company The Weitzman Group. Weitzman’s
Gene Williams handles leasing.
The architect for the renovation was MDN Architects, and the general contractor
was Metropolitan Construction
