 Professional Background
Gene Williams is a Vice President with the San Antonio Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group. In this position, he handles retail project representation and retail tenant representation in the San Antonio area, as well as in Laredo and the Rio Grande Valley area. Prior to joining Weitzman, Williams was a professional golfer, both as a member of the Tightlies Tour and the Gateway Tour. Williams also serves as director of the Bean-Dirks Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Williams  is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the San Antonio Real Estate Council and its Leadership Development Program and the San Antonio RECSA Government Affairs Committee. He is a board member of the San Antonio Children's Shelter and is on its Buildings & Facilities Committee. He also serves as the Director of The Bean-Dirks Memorial Scholarship Fund and is a member of the U-40 San Antonio Rotary Club. 

Education
Williams received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a minor in Spanish from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
