Karen Waring Director of Asset/Property Management San Antonio Office Cencor Realty Services kwaring@cencorrealty.com Professional Background Karen Waring is Director of Asset/Property Management for Cencor Realty Services and is in charge of Cencor's managed portfolio in the San Antonio area. In this position, Waring is responsible for overseeing the asset and property management of the portfolio, which consists primarily of retail centers totaling approximately 2.3 million square feet. In addition, she will handle the generation of new third-party management business. Waring has more than 25 years of experience in property management operations, including leasing, marketing, asset management, due diligence, acquisitions and dispositions. She also has extensive experience in construction rehabilitation and modernization. Prior to joining Cencor, Waring was regional asset manager for Triple Net Properties, where she handled asset management of 3.8 million square feet of commercial space in Texas and Florida. She also worked as a regional director for CB Richard Ellis in San Antonio and Austin, where she was responsible for a portfolio totaling 3.5 million square feet of commercial space. Honors and Awards Waring is the recipient of  Cencor's Above and Beyond, recognizing dedication and exemplary efforts on behalf of the company. Organizations Waring is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and has earned IREM's prestigious Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation. She also is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Building Owners and Managers Association and the San Antonio Board of Realtors. She is a licensed Real Estate Agent through the Texas Real Estate Commission.
