 Professional Background
Austin Schenkel is an Associate with the Dallas/Fort Worth Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, the leading retail real estate brokerage firm in Texas. Schenkel, who joined the company in 2008, handles retail project leasing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. He is a member of the third-party leasing team. Prior to joining The Weitzman Group, Schenkel’s real estate experience included internships with Venture Commercial Real Estate and with Corinth Properties Real Estate.

Schenkel is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and serves on the Board of Directors of the Oak Cliff Chamber of Commerce.
