Professional Background Daniel J. Mitchell, a commercial real estate professional with more than 40 years of experience, is a Senior Vice President with the San Antonio office of The Weitzman Group. Mitchell handles retail tenant representation, retail project leasing, development consulting and investment sales in the greater San Antonio area. Prior to joining Weitzman, Mitchell's 13-year career at Katz & Associates was in the capacity of executive vice president – development and senior vice president for the Midwest region. He also served in executive real estate positions with nationwide duties for Linens ‘n Things, Silo and Highland Superstores. His extensive experience also includes site selection and real estate-related work with McDonald’s Corporation and Wendy’s International. During his career, Mitchell has completed more than 300 restaurant transactions, 12 million square feet of retail transactions and more than 1.5 million square feet of single-tenant and/or retail development transactions.
