Professional Background
R. Marshall Mills is President and Chief Operating Officer of Cencor Realty Services and The Weitzman Group, a corporate alliance that forms one of the largest commercial real estate management, development and brokerage services firms in Texas. Mills is responsible for overseeing the daily operations for the companies, with particular emphasis on overall performance.

As president of the statewide The Weitzman Group, Mills enhances his leadership role in directing the company's operations and brokerage activity in Dallas/Fort Worth and throughout Texas. The company, in addition to Dallas/Fort Worth, operates offices in Austin, Houston and San Antonio.

Mills oversees the brokerage operations in all of the company's offices. Weitzman currently operates with approximately 60 brokers responsible for leasing a portfolio of more than 40 million square feet throughout the state.

On the Cencor side, he oversees statewide property management, asset management and development operations. Cencor currently manages a retail property portfolio of more than 23 million square feet. 

Mills joined Cencor in 1992 and most recently was Chief Financial Officer, with responsibility for accounting, financing and acquisition strategies. Prior to Cencor, Mills was with Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., where he was an interim construction lending/workout officer responsible for a major commercial property portfolio. Mills real estate finance experience at Chase included providing construction financing for commercial and residential development in markets across the U.S.

Organizations
Mills is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He also serves as Treasurer of The Real Estate Council and The Real Estate Council Foundation; he also serves on the Boards of Directors for both organizations.  Mills also serves on the Corporate Advisory Committee for the Dallas Arboretum. He is a member of the Lone Star Chapter of the Young Professionals Organization. 

Education
Mills received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
