Professional Background
Ryder Jeanes is a Senior Vice President with the Austin Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group. He handles general brokerage, specializing in retail project representation, retail investment sales and retail tenant representation. Projects in the Austin area that he handles leasing on include the Mueller Regional Retail Center at the Robert Mueller Airport Redevelopment; The Forum in Leander, a 200,000- square-foot H-E-B Plus!-anchored retail development; Marketplace Shopping Center in Temple, a 300,000-square-foot H-E-B-anchored center; and Crossing at Palm Valley, a 39-acre retail/mixed-use project at Highway 79 and FM 1460 in Round Rock.  Jeanes has handled lease negotiations for more than 2,000,000 square feet on the project leasing side.

On the investment side, he has negotiated the purchase and sale of Austin shopping centers valued at more than $15 million to date, with the most recent involving the sale of the street-level retail space at the 360 Condominiums, Austin's second-tallest building.

Honors and Awards
Jeanes ranked as one of Weitzman's Top 10 Producers for the state of Texas in 2009. In addition, he was named statewide Rookie of the Year for Weitzman in 2005. In addition, Jeanes was inducted into The Weitzman Group's Club 52 in 2005, a company recognition of the brokers who closed at least one deal per week in a year. In 2006, Jeanes was recognized by the Austin Business Journal as one of the Top 10 retail brokers in Austin in its "Heavy Hitters" ranking.
