Professional Background
Jay
Elizalde is an Associate with the Commercial Retail
Division of The Weitzman Group, the leading retail-focused
commercial real estate brokerage services firm in Texas. In
this position, he specializes in the retail project representation
and retail tenant representation in the San Antonio area.
Organizations and Awards
Elizalde
is a member of the International Council of Shopping
Centers, and Chair of the ICSC NextGEN program in San Antonio. He has served on
the CCIM Symposium Committee for 2011 and is on the Board of Directors for LOOP
– Leadership Organization of Professionals, an organization for young
professionals in San Antonio. With strong ties to San Antonio, Elizalde is
involved with many professional organizations in town.
During
his last year at the University of Texas at San
Antonio, he held the position of President of the Real Estate Entrepreneurs and
Leaders (REEL) student organization. He has also served as executive vice
president of the Future Leaders in Real Estate, Development and Construction
student organization. In his senior year, he received the Leadership Scholarship
award from the Real Estate Council of San Antonio, as well as a scholarship
award from the San Antonio Builders & Owners Association.
Education
Elizalde
received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Real Estate Finance and
Development from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
