Professional Background
Graham Carter is an Assistant Vice President with the Austin Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group, one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in Texas. Carter specializes in retail project representation and retail tenant representation in the greater Austin area. Prior to joining The Weitzman Group in 2006, his commercial real estate experience includes brokerage with Austin-based John Lewis Company, where he handled leasing of retail and office/warehouse projects, as well as development feasibility analysis, zoning issues and loan packages for permanent loans and re-financing. Immediately prior to joining Weitzman, Carter worked with an orphanage outside of Nairobi, where he initiated the purchase of land in Maai Mahiu, Kenya, and raised funds for the land purchase. His work with the orphanage was through Comfort the Children International.

Organizations
Carter is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Real Estate Council of Austin, for which he serves on several committees, including the Transportation Committee. On the community side, he is a member of Ducks Unlimited, Austin Chapter, where he serves as donations chair, and is a board member for Comfort the Children International.

Education
Carter received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a dual major in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He also attended the University of Maastricht in Maastricht, The Netherlands, where he studied business operations and international business
