Professional Background 
JC Burciaga is Senior Vice President with the  Investment Advisory Services division for The Weitzman Group, one of the largest regional commercial real estate firms in the United States. Prior to joining Weitzman, Burciaga ran his own development and investment firm, JCB Unlimited, where he was responsible for commercial acquisitions and development for high-net-worth individuals throughout the United States. Burciaga has been involved in transactions totaling more than 13 million square feet of retail and 1,000 apartment units, as well as other types of commercial real estate, valued in excess of $500 million. His developments are pioneering projects in each of the submarkets where he developed projects. Burciaga began his real estate career in 1986 with Fort Worth-based Norman Lindley Company. He later joined The WOODMONT Companies, where he was a senior vice president and investment properties broker working acquisitions and dispositions.

Honors and Awards
Burciaga ranked in The Weitzman Group’s Top 10 Producers for Texas in 2010. He has won numerous production awards and has frequently ranked as a “Heavy Hitter,” a designation by the Dallas Business Journal to honor the top investment brokers and brokers in other areas of commercial real estate. He also was named “Citizen of the Year” in Flower Mound in 2008.

Burciaga is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the CCIM (Commercial Investment Real Estate) Institute and the Real Estate Council.

Education
Burciaga attended Texas Weslayan University in Fort Worth and is a candidate for the prestigious Certified Commercial-Investment Member designation.
