Professional Background
Beau Barkerding is an Associate with the Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group. In this position, he specializes in the project representation of retail centers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, as well as general brokerage, including retail tenant representation and retail leasing and sales. Prior to joining The Weitzman Group, Barkerding was managing director of Greystone Development Group, LLC, in Mandeville, Louisiana, where he directed the creation, marketing, construction and sale of a 112-home residential subdivision. At Greystone, he also was involved with commercial investment, development and marketing consultation, as well as brokerage and management. He entered the commercial real estate profession working with Beau J. Box of Baton Rouge, who among other things was lead disposition broker for Home Depot and Federal Express.  He served for six years with the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Barkerding is a member of the International Council of Shopping
Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.  
He is a designee for the Certified Commercial Investment Member
(CCIM) designation awarded by the CCIM Institute.

Education
Barkerding received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
with a minor in Business Administration from Louisiana State
University in Baton Rouge.
