Professional Background Marshall Ballard is a Vice President with the Dallas/Fort Worth Commercial Retail Division of The Weitzman Group. He specializes in general brokerage, including retail tenant representation, retail project representation and project acquisitions and sales. Ballard began his commercial real estate career in 1997 with Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs Affiliate, as a financial analyst in the office/retail and development divisions. Subsequently, Ballard worked at Transwestern Commercial Services, Ballard Commercial Services, and Karns Commercial Real Estate Services focusing in tenant representation, project leasing, and improved/unimproved property acquisitions and sales. Representative client list Ballard tenant representation client list includes companies such as Tanworld, Hibbett Sports, Jack In The Box, and RaceTrac Petroleum. Ballard has worked with JPMorgan Chase, Aaron Rents, Palm Beach Tan, McAlister’s Deli and GameStop, to name a few, on a tenant representation basis. On a project leasing/sales and acquisition/development basis Ballard has worked with developers such as Cencor Realty Services, Brewer Development, Green Street Properties, and Trammell Crow Residential, as well as tenants such as Hobby Lobby, Mardels, Blockbuster, Big Lots, JPMorgan Chase and Sleep Experts. Organizations Ballard is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors. He is a licensed Broker through the Texas Real Estate Commission. Education Ballard received a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Business Administration from Louisiana State University. |
