Professional Background Kristi Balcezak is a Property Manager with the Austin office of Cencor Realty Services, which she joined in 2010. She has managed commercial property in Austin for more than a decade. Balcezak’s professional career has been largely spent working for premier real estate firms including Trammell Crow Company and Lincoln Property Company, where she developed her passion for managing retail assets. Prior to joining Cencor Realty Services, Balcezak spent the past two years assisting a local real estate trust as it relocated from Michigan. This position included setting up an on-site management office and serving as a liaison between the owners and the local market. Balcezak has managed assets owned by institutional owners, large REITS, pension funds and local ownerships. Balcezak’s management skills are complemented by her thorough knowledge of the Austin area and deep ties to her own community. As a native of Austin, Balcezak has spent the last 30 years as part of the Westlake community. Her property management career has included assets all over the Austin and surrounding areas. Past retail management assignments have included Westbank Market and West Woods Shopping Center in the Westlake area, Escarpment Village located in the Circle C neighborhood, and the redevelopment of Northcross Mall, located in central Austin. Balcezak has also managed several new retail developments from initial construction to full operation. These development assignments include the Shops at the Galleria in the City of Bee Cave, Red Oak Village in San Marcos and Killeen Marketplace in Killeen.. Organizations |
